Onthat topic, Daryl Davis, the black man who turns Klan members away from the Klan, deserves respect.

What’s especially funny to me, hanging out on the Creationist boards, is this black Trump supporter named Kairosfocus who defends Trump even though Trump wouldn’t let him within 10 feet of Mar-a-lago.

UD LIVE EVENT — US Election Nov 3, 2020: predictions, tracking live, projections, reflections/thoughts

This election in the US is at a kairos for not only the US but our civilisation. What do you think, why? (Recall, UD makes no endorsements and no “un-dorsements” either, but we are aware that the seven mountains of power and influence strongly interact with worldviews and cultural agendas raising issues of alternatives.) So,

The funny thing about Kairosfocus being a Trump supporter is that they got afoul of the COULOUR OF LAW for blocking people who look like him from renting their apartments.  :p  :p  :p

Did he mean to say the “US is at a crossroads”?  Does he type his pseudonym so often that autocorrect “fixed” it for him?  Or has he been sniffing more glue than usual?

It grates me every time! I have no problem with the combination of a Greek and a Latin term (like television), but writing to words next to another does not make them a compound noun: kairosfocus just sounds bad! It should be something like kairofocus (or perhaps kaironfocus, if you are afraid to be misplaced in Egypt)

Someone here (I forget who, for which I apologise) once observed that kf's screen name is ironic, as he is neither timely or focussed.

Yeah, you know, "liberal media"... because let's face it, nothing screams "socialism" louder that a multi-billion-dollar corporate empire.

KF,
Let me put some cards on the table here, which will no doubt be ridiculed by some here but maybe a handful of us can engage in proper discussion.

What we are faced with is global, systemic, deep evil to a degree that most of the population cannot imagine, much less comprehend. The roots this go back hundreds of years, but have been more meticulously and carefully brought into full planning for the better part of this century.

These people assassinate presidents, world leaders, executives, judges, politicians and cause the deaths of millions without hesitation or conscience. They have been deliberately poisoning our bodies and minds with chemicals and deliberate, highly effective persuasion techniques on a decades-long schedule. They have kept the world in an ongoing state of profitable wars – profitable both in treasure and in control via fear. They have infiltrators and agents everywhere. They do not hesitate to murder any number of people to keep their plan going forward. They engage in mass brainwashing techniques around the world. They employ widespread honey-pot blackmail techniques and vet everyone looking to gain entry into rooms where the control levers are.

Untrained people, generally speaking, do have the faculties, expertise nor power necessary to thwart this; they can’t even comprehend what is going on and shut down in denial when faced with evidence. What we have proven ready, willing and able to do is recognize a threat to that system and support it as much as we can, even to the point of risking our lives to do so.

And that’s what we did with Trump.

Do you think Trump just luckily blundered through the controls that these people have in place to keep unwanted people out? That didn’t happen, KF. Trump had to have very powerful, trained and organized military-level help or he’d have been killed long before he could truly threaten their power. Do you think there wasn’t sufficient voter fraud mechanisms in place in 2016 to prevent him from winning? Of course there were. How do you think he won?

IMO, your judgement on the people can only be levied by a partial understanding of what has happened. How were we to know that from the moment we started getting TV broadcasts into our home, we were being fed lies? That newspapers have always been, by and large, propaganda? That polls are for manipulating the public, not informing them? How were we supposed to vet whom we could trust?

We’re supposed to do all that and put in the increasingly long workdays (another planned feature of modern life)? “The people” might have some liability, but to say “we got what we asked for,” is, IMO, highly unjust.

Nuts.

So maybe what's needed is Asimov's three laws of robotics?

OTOH, in the movie "I, Robot", it didn't go all that well.

My takeaway was that Polistra thinks Jeff Bezos wants to fuck robots for the rest of his life.  (A subject Asimov touched on in one of his R. Daneel Olivaw stories.)

Kinda makes you wonder what Polistra’s sex life is like.  But on second thought I don’t want to go there.

Those ballots would have been rejected unless there was coordinated fraud to accept the back-dated ballots after the deadline and lie about it.

Or if monkeys flew out my… Well, you get the idea.

Any system can be prone to fraud. But KF is jumping on every circumstance where fraud could enter the picture, and concluding that it did. Completely ignoring the fact that it could equally have been perpetrated by Trump supporters. Maybe that is why the numbers were so different than those predicted by the polls.

Nobody is arguing that fraud isn’t possible. It occurs in every election, either intentionally or unintentionally. But that is a far cry from concluding the sort of tinfoil-hat conspiracy theories that KF has been touting. Especially when every one that has been examined falls apart under scrutiny.

So does WJM:

Personally, I expect there is far more evidence, and far more damning evidence, of voter fraud to come. I also think the campaign is engaging in some lawfare diversion during this process to not tip his hand. Trump had 4 years to prepare for this; he was clear that he thought there was extensive vote fraud in 2016. He’s not the kind of guy to come to the table unprepared.

Although reading that, he might just be a deeply embedded troll.

In the 2016 primaries when Trump didn’t do as well if he expected to against Ted Cruz he accused Cruz of cheating. In the general election when Hillary did better than him he accused her of cheating. Now in 2020 when he doesn’t like how well Biden did against him he accused Biden of cheating. Anybody who thinks there’s some fire behind this smoke is clueless.
