Why do IDiots love Z-DNA so much?
E.g., Junk DNA and Darwinian blind spots:

Queen Victoria is far more responsible than Darwin could possibly be.
WW1 was a family squabble amongst her offspring and extended family.  Until the US entered the war, the rulers of all combatant nations were related to Victoria.
I blame bad parenting.

Thank you Dick Peterson. I am substantially illiterate about DNA. It had not been discovered when I took biology in 1961.

Typo? 1861?

Well, he did say he was substantially illiterate about DNA!

Whats even worse is DNA that changes from Z- to B-DNA within half a turn:

My impression is that half of the pictures at designed-dna.org is left handed (the link goes to a google picture search)

Guess I ought to add something to that. A few years ago, the local IDiot, a fundamentalist Christian, retired Professor Emeritus of surgery and urology, published a miserable book, title "Evolution, Creation or Accident", recommended as a gift for Christian teenageres at Confirmation. When someone confronted him with the argument about how humans have genes for a tail, and may even be born with a tail up to 6 inches long, his response was:

"That was unknown to me, but I will get in touch with experts on Intelligent Design in the USA."

But he only rarely respond to criticism and questions, and seems unable to distinguish between OOL and biological evolution.

That's about the situation in Norway, and I think all of Scandinavia is at a corresponding state.

I already mentioned the "lights out" series in the UD thread:

Tim Kershner has a new ID video series on you tube called Lights out staring
Ann Guger
Fazale Rana (who's that) and
Jonathan McLatchie
Lights out, indeed - and back to the dark ages.

Is it a real surprise that it starts with a wrong-handed DNA molecule?

It’s quite telling that the video starts with a left-handed DNA molecule.

“It’s quite telling that the video starts with a left-handed DNA molecule.”

Exactly what do you think it is telling you?

and what does the following video on DNA ‘tell you’?

DNA – Replication, Wrapping & Mitosis
https://vimeo.com/3388280....3882804

what does the following fact about DNA ‘tell you’?

DNA: The Ultimate Hard Drive – Science Magazine, August-16-2012
Excerpt: “When it comes to storing information, hard drives don’t hold a candle to DNA. Our genetic code packs billions of gigabytes into a single gram. A mere milligram of the molecule could encode the complete text of every book in the Library of Congress and have plenty of room to spare.”
