Bill Dembski set up his Uncommon Descent website back in 2005. Since then, it has been a source of amusement for "Intelligent Design" skeptics and, when moderation allowed, fun to argue with ID supporters in the comment threads. But no longer. The website at https://uncommondescent.com/....ent....ent.com has disappeared. A read-only archive of sorts exists at https://www.uncommondescent.com/....ent....ent.com which preserves the last 15 OPs for each year from 2005 to 2023 but the last pro-ID venue where comments could be added has folded.

Actually I think the DI archive is complete, up to April 12.

Indeed. They have gone defunct years ago and I actually only read UD content here.

Thanks, Jack, for pointing that out. Just the date tags and links are missing from comments. Someone also managed to download a save including the last comments. It's 2 Gb and available on request

Well, a couple weeks ago I tried to log in here and got a message about a data breach. Tried again today, no problem. Huh.

Hi Dave!

For others - can you point out where were are here:

Quote
Governing Goals

To defeat scientific materialism and its destructive moral, cultural and political legacies.
To replace materialistic explanations with the theistic understanding that nature and human beings are created by God.
Five Year Goals

To see intelligent design theory as an accepted alternative in the sciences and scientific research being done from the perspective of design theory.
To see the beginning of the influence of design theory in spheres other than natural science.
To see major new debates in education, life issues, legal and personal responsibility pushed to the front of the national agenda.
Twenty Year Goals

To see intelligent design theory as the dominant perspective in science.
To see design theory application in specific fields, including molecular biology, biochemistry, paleontology, physics and cosmology in the natural sciences, psychology, ethics, politics, theology and philosophy in the humanities; to see its influence in the fine arts.
To see design theory permeate our religious, cultural, moral and political life.

This whole thing was a fun and sometimes infuriating ride. I dropped off around the Obama era, but you guys and gals did good things.

Seemingly, commenting is allowed. However, I didn't check the conditions under which this is possible and seemingly many comments were written by Denyse O'Leaary.
