A question, why would a theory that would depend on proof that had no proof still be around way after it was proposed? what is the pull towards evolution? also why do you think that creationists still belive in creation even after the "proof" seems to point in the opposite direction. is it just a matter of interpritation?

Theories don't depend on proof, they depend on supporting evidence. Proof as such applies only to formal mathematics, and is relative to some set of axioms even then (unless one is talking about alcohol).
