Texas: 2 out of 3 State Board Members Say No to Requiring IDC

A Houston Chronicle article shows that requiring ID in science classes is not popular, but leaves open the DI's preferred stance that IDC be permitted in those classes at the discretion of individual teachers. Also, there's a quote from antievolutionist SBOE chair Don McLeroy that he favors textbooks that will teach about the "weaknesses" of evolutionary science.

Never mind that the same arguments are what are labeled as ID in one case, and "weaknesses" in the other.
