This is the actual reason why the fine folks at TSZ engage gpuccio. His arguments aren't very cogent. His story changes every time he opens his mouth. But once in a while he drops a gem like this, and that makes it worth your while.

I buy that for *some* of them (and definitely for you you troublemaker you). á

Some folke, however, I think have a white-knight syndrome. áLike debate with gpuccio is going to convince these mythical "onlookers". áAint no onlookers reading through 1000 post threads dispersed among 3 blogs

either way, that's good shit right there I don't care who licked the paper

I think at this point UD has no onlookers. áThere's a small regular readership of the usual suspects, who lack the intelligence, the education and/or the willingness to understand science. áAnd there's a much larger readership of, well, us. áI'd be surprised if many "undecideds" make their way to UD any more. áDembski and Denyse are hardly household names, and no-one's heard of Gordon even in fucking Montserrat.

To a first approximation, UD is a comedy site and we're the only audience.

Math is just a language of reality. Its a waste of time to know it. - Robert Byers

There isn't any probability that the letter d is in the word "mathematics"...  The correct answer would be "not even 0" - JoeG
