I have lifted the hex.

Next time it's a plague of frogs.

Frogs?  How about a plague of cane toads?

Apparently one the size of a small dog has been found in Darwin, Australia.  See here for the story.

Hey, I've kept cane toads (or "marine toads").  I used to use them for reptile shows -- kids loved 'em.

They're actually friendly little fellows.  Too bad they eat everything in sight.  (Mine ate mice.)
