You seem to be implying Arrington is not one of the "ignorant yet arrogant nutters" - an assumption that may need to be tested. 
Anyway, here's an alternative idea to the thought of Barry simply closing UD down: what if he is able to do what Dembski did to him, and unload the site on to someone else? Does anyone here have any ideas on who would be an, er, interesting blog owner there?
