It was worth a whole lot more. They had half a dozen active front pagers, some even with degrees, several dozen commenters every day, hundreds of comments, thousands of pageviews. It took me hours a day to keep up with UD. I had to write a script to backup the whole site to my hard drive every night so i could find the comments after they deleted them, it was hard to keep up.
Traffic is almost non existent now, Barry's having to pay Denyse to go through the motions of posting 'news', comments are dominated by ~3 complete lunatics. I'm just speculating here but Dembski probably sold UD to Barry for several thousand Ameros, and it's worth nothing now.
