That wasn't the question Chubs. You were asked how to differentiate between "common design" and naturally occurring "limited descent with variation".
You couldn't do it with the okapi and giraffe example even though both species have had their genomes sequenced and readily available. Let's try an easier one. Are tigers and house cats the same "kind" or were each specially created? How can you tell?
