I'm really excited about finally getting our first detail on the actual design - the Designer created some initial "kinds" which can evolve but have some barrier which prevents them from evolving too far.

What? I extrapolated from observing many ticks on the flesh side of discarded watermelon rinds to ticks prefer that environment to the ultra-dry forest floor.
And all you losers can try to do is challenge that observation. That is the stuff of pre-school and easily ignored.
