Mantella Posts: 1 Joined: Dec. 2005 (Permalink) Posted: Dec. 07 2005,15:32    There was a kid in my high school (in Kansas no less) named Darwin. He had no problems because of it. I think it probably would depend on the person, and how they carry themselves. My advice would be different if you wanted to name the kid something sexually ambiguous (Hillary, for example --- I myself thought of Hillary Putnam as a distinguished woman philosopher for the longest time). There I think you would be letting a child in for a world of unfair taunts.
