Not only a vague generalization, but one that is entirely uncontroversial. Quite literally no one is seriously arguing or suggesting that there are no 'features of the universe' that are best explained by intelligent causes.
So Gary's work is pointless, as pointless as he himself is.
Until and unless he's willing to answer the questions as to which features, or how we are to determine for any given 'feature' whether or not it is 'best explained' by intelligent causes, he has nothing.
As people have been telling him for 8+ years.
