They imagine atheists should all be amoral.
Then someone points out that atheists don't seem any more amoral than anyone else.

at which point they can take two paths:

1) "Oh, you know what, you're right. Maybe I completely misunderstand the situation."

or

2) "They're not atheisting right!!!!"

and being idiots, #1 never occurs to them.
