Here's a little bit more about the kit.
Do it! I am thinking of doing it, especially since deep ancestry and Neanderthal roots was the subject of one of the talks of my DNA Day program at the library, and now that I am writing about genetic genealogy. That kit is not cheap! Nice gift!
I also recommend watching Journey of Man: A Genetic Odyssey. It's available for streaming on Netflix too if YouTube gets taken down. |

Thanks, Kristine. The kit's on sale, so I got my wife one too. Not sure how much detail they include, but contributing to their DNA data pool is also satisfying. Too bad the gals don't get their paternal background.
I'll be sure to look for the video on Netflix.
