I'm saying planetary orbits are stable regardless of any expansion*, caekboy. You claimed they're not, and that without expansion Earth would fall into the sun. Let's see your evidence. You could start with showing what's wrong with GMm / r^2 = mv^2 / r .
*Utterly negligible at solar-system scales anyway. There's a reason the Hubble-constant is usually expressed per megaparsec. |

Great, when proven to be ignorant of the actual discussion JohnW presses on.
A universe that is not expanding will collapse on itself. That's it. And with Richie's universe there isn't any external force. In order for it to work all the laws have to be changed or the designer needs to intervene- just as I have said to Richie.
