Anyone want to ask Barry if killing for fun (as opposed for food or self-defense) is absolutely immoral, or just stinky?
This is really amusing to me because I've lived through some major changes in moral thinking. When I was a kid, conservatives (Democrats back then) put signs on restrooms and water fountains saying "White" or "Colored."
A black nightclub at my school bus stop was burned to the ground. So complete was the apartheid at the time that it took me decades to realize there were black people living practically next door, and my all white elementary school was in a black neighborhood.
Streets that joined black and white neighbors were permanently blocked. Sometimes a tree conveniently fell across the road at the color line. The blockage was never cleared. What's funny is that 60 years later the maps, including Google maps, show the roads without the blockage, but by now the blockage is overgrown, and there is little evidence the roads were ever open.
The people who implemented this were in Christian churches ever Sunday morning, thinking they were reborn and the epitome of moral rectitude.
Barry's Christian rectitude makes me want to puke. He's too savvy to be openly racist, but he is the direct descendent of this political mentality. Morality is absolute. We have always been at war with Eastasia.
