Hi Kristine,
I'm glad your event was a success; did the local media cover it?

And *ahem* may I enquire about the fate of another article?  Methinks it was to be available for the hoi polloi sooner or later.

Whoo-hoo! My article is finally indexed online! Need subscription, though. :) (Second one down.)

The news and community centers picked up our press release. Lynn Fellman's presentation was partially filled so that we can produce a short video about the program (I took stills of the other events), and I already have plans for next year.

What was the other article?

The article is about conspiracy theories, iirc.
And now I'm looking forward to the video, too.

Oh, it's the same one. Pardonnez-moi for essentially liveblogging about everything that transpires about this article - I'm just very excited about it, and now being mentioned on the SI website. But it's not available online, unless you use a database such as Gale, Expanded Academic ASAP, InfoTrac, Science in Context, etc.

Someone emailed me and I suggested that he send his comments as a letter to the editor (which now appears in the May/June issues of SI), and it turns out that he worked in the NASM archives along with the people I worked with!

I must say, Dembski is out of his mind, not publishing and lighting candles in his turret for ID. I have found academic publishing (which does not pay, unlike my earlier pursuits) to be an enormously rewarding experience. Gotta be a lot better than constant helping of well-deserved cold shoulder!
