UD News wrong again, dog bites man: Quote | Anyone remember the Central Dogma of Genetics? One gene, one protein? |
The Central dogma is about the flow of information being one way for RNA -> protein (that would be translation, News). Gene is DNA, and DNA <-> RNA through reverse transcriptase. It hasn't been one gene, one protein since alternative splicing was observed in 1977 - do try to keep up, News. None of this is genetics, either, a completely different field of study.
