Quote (Tracy P. Hamilton @ July 21 2011,13:38) | News can't reason her way out of a paper bag, thinking this is a stumper: Quote | That’s Dennis Jones’s challenge to those who insist, “You can’t talk about design unless you say who the designer is”:
1. ID Theory has nothing to do with creationism or a designer. There is no philosophical contemplation as to a designer any more than the Big Bang theory has anything to say about a banger. |
Big Bang theory does not require a Big Banger, so does ID not require a Intelligent Designer? Make sure you shout that in all the churches where ID conferences are held. |
Seems there are a couple of folks who's bulbs light up a bit (however dimly) when the error was pointed out. Unfortunately, they can't seem to figure out which way the gun should point.
Mung quickly tries to change the subject by way of the "ignore-that-man-behind-the-stupidity!":
Quote | Intelligent design theory requires a designer in the same sense that evolutionary theory requires the existence of an LUCA. |
Chris, elated with Mung's approach, tosses in an approving chortle:
Quote | Mung, post 8: game, set and match, sir. Love it! |
Uhh...yeah...Chris. Good of you to high-five Mung's pummeling of Dennis, and by association, Denyse. So, will you be so kind as let them both know know Dennis has been fisked? Thanks!
Game, set and match indeed...
