Daily they see that hell has maws, and indeed every principality of hell has a maw or two, as does every county, ward, city block and hellish dwelling, while nary a maw is found in heaven, not even on a heavenly broom closet or post office box. In fact in heaven there are no orifices at all.
But they just don't get it.
