Having hung around here for 4 years or so, I feel comfortable in saying that reports of UD's demise are greatly exaggerated.
For example, you may have seen this report of Eugenie Scott receiving the Public Welfare Medal from the National Academy of Sciences. Now, UD hasn't commented on this particular one. But, this type of thing happens all the time. Eugenie, Ken Miller, heck even PZ, will get some award and we'll be blessed with a post from Dr. Dr. Bitter himself, WmAD.
In short, we may be in a tard recession, but there are better days ahead. Just forebear. |
I agree. Tard is an inexhaustible resource. It's just not funny tard these days. It's more or less civil and boring,
It's also longwinded. If only Torley, who vies with kairosfocus for logorhhea, had some of KF's indignation. I miss KF.
Also, people like Fuller and Torley (not to be confused with Fuller Torrey) have taken UD in a curious direction -- one in which the religious nature of ID isn't even concealed any more.
