Oops! I misread your comment. I see now that you, in fact, do buy into the "What the Bleep Do We Know", new-age woo, that the presence of consciousness in an observer has a material effect on the outcome of a quantum experiment. I remember thinking at the time "well maybe he's not so far out in left field after all." I was wrong. My sincere apologies, and condolences.
