Isn't a bit in classic and quantum computing LITERALLY a difference in energy (voltage, current, light intensity or polarization or atomic energy levels)?   Poor analogy, too-the endless UD debates on whether DNA is hardware or software crack me up-life isn't just a computer-it can utilize the energy, replicate, store information and evolve.
