O'Leary quotes physicist David Tyler announcing that some Russian naturalists thought the "struggle for existence" really wasn't such a big deal in hostile environments. Thus, erm, something.
Physicist David Tyler has a substantial expertise in the biological sciences: Quote | Current research interests relate to teamworking in product development and the optimisation of performance of textile/apparel supply chains. He is a Senior Lecturer, a Member of The Textile Institute and a Member of the Institute of Physics. In 1995, he was awarded the Golden Medal by The Textile Institute. |
Don't get me wrong; textiles are important, as is the performace of supply chains. But it doesn't say "take my insights into biology seriously".
