The Instapundit article, which mostly quotes John Scalzi goes on to list a more likely reason the film was a hard sell in America: | Quote | | Well, it may be that. Otherwise, you know, not so much. The “oh, it’s too controversial for Americans” comment is, I suspect, a bit of face-saving rationalization from a producer. |
