Incredibly, evolutionists were quick to add their gratuitous, scientifically meaningless, interpretation of the findings. As one evolutionist put it:

I doubt that our systematically confused friend has ever perused a water strider under a microscope, so he must think that it's magic and has nothing to do with hydrophobic fan-like arrays of setae.
