aye quack sins of uber reduction are rampant in the ID camp. also in some gene centered views of some other camps... even if it is atoms (or turtles or horny mallard ducks) all the way down, it still makes more sense to talk about a 8 lb walleye than about the cluster of atoms (or turtles or mallards) that comprise such a beast. ahh but what to do about that I do not know.
